Honouring Previous Chairs at Our Annual Fundraising Dinner
On Wednesday 13 November 2024, at our annual fundraising dinner, JW3 Chair Marc Nohr awarded outstanding achievement awards to our previous chairs, Michael Goldstein (current President of the United Synagogue) and Debbie Klein, for their past and continued support for JW3 since we opened 11 years ago.
The event, which raised over £430,000 for our charitable activities, also saw Weakest Link host, Anne Robinson in conversation with The Telegraph's Head of Fashion Lisa Armstrong OBE. Plus an exclusive first performance of one of the songs from our upcoming panto Goldie Frocks and the Bear Mitzvah.
During the appeal, JW3 Vice President Sir Lloyd Dorman CVO CBE said 'Against all the odds, in 2024, JW3 stands tall as a unique communal hub, an opening and welcoming space. Only 2 weeks ago protestors gathered outside the building to intimidate visitors. So I think how important it is to stand firm at this time so that our community can enjoy and benefit from everything that JW3 does and stands for.'
